3.5 stars-sad to say, I've purchased enough smoothies now to qualify my conclusion that they have definitely more icy as in snow cone and not as "real" fruit tasting like it seemed to be before. I expect way more for an almost $6 touted "healthy" drink. Dunno. Other than doing a transaction involving a 4 year old once (I am totally assuming single mom daycare woes, I sympathize, been down that road), Customer service still ok. And the morning happy hour $2.99 smoothies takes the edge off any drink disappointment.

Though this place sells you the impression that they are serving up healthy delicious food and smoothies, the product they actually offer is overpriced junk. If you are desperate enough to eat here, ask specific questions about the ingredients you will receive in your wrap or flat bread because the wording in the menu is...slippery.. For instance, if you order the turkey avocado sandwich, the menu says "with cilantro and lime" but does not say that the cilantro and lime is a powder, not actual cilantro and lime. The smoothies taste watery and I believe they are made with "concentrates" not actual fruit. They do have a vegetarian chicken substitute which I applaud, but it is not very tasty, has fake grill marks painted on it and was served to me virtually frozen on my last, and final, visit here.

Every month or so I receive a mailer from tropical smoothie cafe tempting me with their appetizing food specials...the photos are mouthwatering. The reality not so much. I have tried multiple items including their smoothies, flatbreads, tacos and most recently the sliders. Everytime I have been beyond disgusted and disappointed, who toasts lettuce?! The photos of their latest creation are visually delicious; however, when received are burned beyond all recognition. The staff on this lovely day informed me the credit card machine was not working and in the rudest manner demanding customers pay cash. If that wasn't enough after receiving the unrecognizable lump of what they consider food they were too busy slurping down the leftover smoothies and screwing around on their phones to rectify the situation. I was informed all of the bread is toasted, well after receiving it without being blackened its no surprise since it was stale. The smoothies are sugary sweet and not made with fresh anything except I hope the ice... This place could be a gold mine if they actually served what they illustrate in their marketing and hired respectful polite individuals to serve the product.

Still luving this place, so many flavors. Refreshing dessert, i feel it's healthier then ice-cream or any frozen yogurt crap. I like to add protein to any smoothie, to prevent sugar crash :)

Girl at counter was rude. Waited and waited for my food. Smoothie after smoothie came out. I asked where my sandwich was, and was rudely told that smoothies come out before food always. Well, then other people who came in after me got their food. After that happening three times, I got my money back and left never to return again.

Who hired these people? Act right, ladies. You're serving food to your community and representing your place of work. I blame management. The one girl behind the cash register with the tattoos on her arm was not only rude to me but she was SO mean to the poor girl in the back making my smoothie. She talked down to her, belittled her and embarrassed her in front of her co workers and customers. All the poor girl asked was a question about how to make my smoothie. The tattooed mean-girl needs an attitude adjustment and a new job outside the people serving industry. Smoothie was good.

I used to love coming here and still think the smoothies are great for the price, but the customer service has significantly dropped since they moved locations. The staff is slow and often unfriendly. Many of them don't seem to realize they are in the service industry. Regardless, my food has not really ever been effected except for the length of time I have had to wait sometimes. I'm hoping it will continue to get better.

Horrible service! Rude employees... People received their items before me even though I ordered before they did. The food was microwaved and was so bad I threw it away. Too bad... I would love to eat here more often... Great price for a healthy meal. Tropical Smoothie in Davie is better. At least they use ovens.

I waited 35 minutes for a wrap!! After 20 minutes I went to front and apparently they'd "forgotten " to make it. No apologies given. Very poor customer service.

You guys were so good when you were located on the other side of Publix. Ever since the move service has gone down hill. I waited 30 minutes for a smoothie today. It seemed like the staff just couldn't catch up. I saw people get there sandwiches right away and then wait 25 minutes for a smoothie. They were getting really upset. A young man working in the back took off when it was really busy - and made it known to everyone that he had to pee- it was kind of gross.

This is a good place for wraps and sandwiches. The smoothies are pretty good too; my favorite flavor is Chocolate Chimp (chocolate and banana). This place is a bit pricey and the food isn't as healthy as some people may think. The nutrition menu in the counter shows calories in the 400s and up- for sandwiches and smoothies. After eating a Baja Chicken Flatbread sandwich and drinking a Chocolate Chimp smoothie- which is the first meal I've had today - I have already reached my maximum caloric intake .

Good smoothies but you're waiting 10+ minutes every time no matter how busy they are... Unfortunate because I work right down the street and would come here more often if it weren't such an inconvenience.

I was very disappointed, My smoothie tasted like sugar and water, like it was just made if ice and syrup. Then I got the smallest and by far worst Ceasar salad I have ever eaten in my entire life. The place was kinda gross.....I would not go back.

Entering the Harbor Shops Shopping Plaza hang a left, turn right and about half way going south there is the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. It is a bright clean looking place and in spite of what you may read below the ladies behind the counter were very customer friendly. One was a trainee--that might have been Marie who's name is on the receipt-- who was being trained by a very smiling trainer. We each had a coupon for a free flatbread and Allen ordered the Baja chicken and I had the chicken pesto. All flatbreads are $4.99. Smoothies come at 4 different prices from $4.72 to $5.66. I had the Blue Lagoon (blueberries, strawberries and bananas) while Allen had the Peaches 'n Silk (peaches, strawberries and bananas) and both were cold and sm-o-o-o-o-o-th! In addition I ordered the turkey/bacon sandwich ($6.99) which I really didn't need . The food, the service and the smoothies were fine and I really have nothing to complain about but I still prefer a full service place so chances are I wouldn't return The area caters to the cruise ship customers and crew plus tourists from the beach and Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a pleasant place to take a break from shopping, running around and the heat. Without the coupons the check would have been $26.39 but in all probability without them I wouldn't have had the flatbread so the check would have been $22.06 which is about average for lunch in this neighborhood.

operations Issues every time I'm come here. Computers are down, not accepting credit cards. Staff seems to be overwhelmed with inexperience. Good luck getting in and out in under 30min.

I frequent Tropical Smoothie but this one is terrible a long with the customer service. They got our order incorrect and gave our order to someone else, my smoothie was watered down. Employees were yelling at each other because orders were wrong. I will not return to this location. Funny how when it was on the other side of the plaza it was great.

Buddy was sarcastic and rude when calling about a pick up order. Liked this place but I don't need to go there. A lot of other places in Fort Laud to eat....

I would not recommend eating at Tropical Smoothie during lunch hour during the week. The food isn't bad but not worth the price, and the employees were rude. Additionally, the service was very slow.

The morning girl is not very happy to be there. Someone needs a smile.

The wrap/sandwiches are tasty and the smoothies are good. They aren't "icy", watery tasting like other smoothie joints. Expect to pay a little over $10 for a smoothie and a sandwich. This place can get a little pricey, but that's the cost you pay for eating healthy and not chowing down on crap.

The smoothies at Tropical smoothie are enormous and priced fairly! I've been here a few times in addition to them sponsoring a chamber event I attended several months ago! I loved their Jamaican jerk wrap and always go for their blue lagoon (pretty sure that's the name) smoothie! They have cute names for the smoothies and the staff all wear cute sloganed t's. I've made a special trip and will definitely go out of my way again!
